More Than Just a Workout
Middle school is loud. We give them a quiet, supervised place to build strength and reset.
If your teen slouches through the day, lives in their hoodie, or disappears into a phone when things get awkward, you’re not alone.
This is the "On-Ramp" to real confidence.
The Young Leader Culture Core (12 Weeks) is our teen Core Culture program. It’s built for total beginners and teens coming back after time away from sports.
This challenge gives them something solid to stand on: a structured place to push themselves, build strength, and practice staying calm when things get stressful—without you having to nag.
Who is this for?
- The Shy Teen: Disappears into their phone when life gets loud.
- The Intense Teen: Has a short fuse and needs to channel energy.
- The Athlete: Plays other sports but battles nerves.
- The Seeker: Needs solid role models outside of school.
No prior sports experience needed—shy, nervous, and non-sporty teens are welcome.
What The Challenge Builds
Real Confidence
Not “I’m fine” on repeat, but the kind that comes from getting taken down, getting back up, and seeing they can handle it.
Emotional Control
Breathing, posture, and decision-making when someone is grabbing, resisting, or trying to pin them.
Strong Posture
Core strength, grip, balance, and movement that carry over into other sports (and how they walk down the hallway).
Communication
Learning to stand tall, hold eye contact, and use their voice clearly in stressful situations.
Respect & Teamwork
Zero "tough guy" nonsense. Winning and losing with respect, and taking care of training partners.
"It's a third place—not home, not school—where they can just focus and grow."
Schedule & Rhythm
Enough mat time to see real change, without wrecking your family schedule. You pick your two main days. Miss a day? Just drop into the next class that fits your week—no penalty.
6045 Main St, Tannersville - Second Floor, Studio 1 (above the Hunter Foundation Antique Shops on Main Street in Tannersville)

Total Tuition

How The First Day Works
Reserve Spot
Claim a place in the Teens Challenge so we can plan partners and welcome your teen by name.
Arrive 10 Mins Early
Comfortable clothes, water bottle, bare feet. We’ll introduce their coach, show them where to line up, and quietly check in about any nerves or injuries.
Learn Basics
They’ll learn how to bow in, stay safe, and exactly what to do if they feel overwhelmed. No guessing.
Quick answers for parents
- Do I need to stay? You’re welcome to stay and watch, or drop off and pick up after class.
- What if my teen is nervous? We greet them at the door, introduce them to a coach, and keep the first class light.
- What should they wear? Comfortable gym clothes and a water bottle are perfect for the first day.
