Is my first class going to be a fight?
No. Your first class is a coached learning experience. You'll start with a room tour, learn our basic safety rules, and try skill-based activities under close personal guidance. There is skill-based resistance activities begin at the right pace from day one.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable workout clothes (t-shirt and sweatpants or shorts). Bring a water bottle. We train barefoot on sanitized mats, so no special footwear is needed.
Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No. Jiu-Jitsu is how you get in shape. You can take breaks whenever you need them, and you will progress at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable for you.
Can I reschedule if my plans change?
