A local youth scrimmage small-group class with coached game rounds, thoughtful matchups, and parent viewing in a calm Friday rhythm. Change the partner, keep the care, and see what remains useful. Kids test familiar problems with students they may not usually train with, then return to class with clearer feedback.
Real rounds. Clear rules. Partners take care of each other.
Coach-led resistance with a safe way to reset and try again.
Friday Night Fanatics is a combined youth BJJ class built around coached game rounds. The goal is real resistance, clear feedback, and another chance to solve the problem when the partner changes.
HOW WE TRAIN TOGETHER
Know the starting position, scoring rule, and stopping signal before the round begins.
If the first attack or escape fails, reset your thinking and stay in the problem.
Give a real round without using speed, strength, or emotion carelessly.
Keep going means staying engaged with a useful challenge. A tap, injury, unsafe feeling, or coach stoppage always means stop.
HOW IT WORKS
Reserve your child's Friday spot during the week.
Provide age, weight, experience, and any notes for coaches.
We create thoughtful pairings based on size, age, and skill.
2–3 rounds with coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
Structured starts that keep the pacing fair and productive.
Start to finish in about one hour. Easy for families.
BUILT FOR YOUNG ATHLETES
Your child gets useful movement, visible coaching, and another chance to solve a live problem in a polished Friday format.
Kids get real resistance, clear feedback, and another chance to solve the problem.
Coach-selected pairings create the right challenge without careless speed, strength, or mismatches.
Parents watch, kids get useful feedback, and each student leaves with one success and one next problem to bring back to class.
Coaches choose connected starting positions so kids work on a useful problem right away without spending a short round chasing, stalling, or negotiating distance. Fair pairing means a safe, useful challenge—not guaranteed equal outcomes. The goal is problem-solving, not winning a trophy.
