Train right on Main Street in a small second-floor studio built for kids, teens, and adults who value personal coaching and a welcoming environment.
Choose the right class to start your routine.
For HTC families, the 5 PM youth class can work as a reliable after-school anchor. Walkable from Main Street, you can drop the kids off and grab coffee nearby.
For adults who work on the mountaintopInstead of commuting off the mountain, our 6 PM adult classes and Saturday 10:30 AM Adult No-Gi provide a calm, technical environment to build fitness and skill right in town.
Use Main Street spots first, nearby side streets if needed, and arrive 5–10 minutes early. Look for Studios on Main, and head upstairs to the second-floor training room.
That is exactly the point: capped classes, visible coaching, and a calm room. You won't disappear into a massive crowd.
Skiing changes the terrain. Soccer changes the field, teammates, and space. Theater rehearses and performs. Pilates develops controlled movement. Jiu-Jitsu adds another person whose movement you cannot control. It can stand alone or complement the Catskills activities your family already values.

Take your time deciding. Experience the room before choosing a tuition track. A calm first visit.
See the mats, where to put your things, and how class works.
Learn how to tap, pause, reset, and train at the right pace.
Start with simple movement, control, escapes, and coached partner work.
The standard Free First Visit comes before the coached first class. A same-visit class is available only through the specialized youth booking workflow—see how class works.
Across the Catskills, families already build life around movement: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, golf, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, lakes, trails, and school activities. BJJ gives kids, teens, and adults a repeatable indoor practice that works in every season.
We design classes to anchor your active lifestyle. Hunter Mountain has 320 skiable acres, 13 lifts, and 67 trails. Mountain Top Arboretum includes 200 acres of trails and meadows. Colonial Golf Course offers local bike trails and summer events. BJJ is your weekly anchor between them.
| Activity | What changes | What you practice |
|---|---|---|
| Jiu-Jitsu | Partner position, pressure, direction, resistance | Perceive → choose → act → adjust |
| Soccer | Ball, teammates, opponents, space | Scan and decide in a team environment |
| Ski / snowboard | Terrain, speed, snow, line | Adapt movement to changing terrain |
| Theater | Scene, collaborators, staging, audience | Rehearse, collaborate, create, perform |
| Pilates | Position, load, and personal control | Organize intentional movement |
