Is there a Drop-In Policy?
Yes—All-Access Day Pass: $20 Youth / $25 Adult.
Complete the waiver and jump in the same day. Group rates available—ask at the desk.
Are classes beginner-friendly?
Absolutely—there’s a “new student lane.”
Senior belts partner with you for a safe, smooth first roll.
Is this a clean training space?
Yes—mats are cleaned before and after every class.
Changing room with shower (bring toiletries/towel). Safety protocols are in place.
Are classes long enough for a good workout?
Yes—structured 60-minute sessions.
10-min warm-up, 10-min technique, 30-min positional training, 10-min cool-down.

Does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu require equipment?
Yes—gi rentals available; rash guards encouraged.
We offer gi rentals for $5 and branded full uniforms for purchase. Please wear fresh, clean clothes. A water fountain is available—bring a bottle—and kindly wear flip-flops off the mat.
May visitors wear their own Gi?
Yes—please wear a blank, non-branded gi.
If you don’t have one, our academy gi is available for a $5 rental fee.
Do you offer MMA classes?
Not publicly—ask about private off-curriculum lessons.
MMA isn’t part of our standard curriculum. Reach out to discuss private lesson options.
Does Sensei Sandy teach every class?
Yes—every class is taught by Sensei Sandy.
You’ll get consistent instruction and a cohesive curriculum across all sessions.

I forgot my belt; may I train without a belt?
Please train with a complete uniform—contact us if needed.
Let us know ahead of time and Sensei Sandy will make accommodations when possible.
Must I wear a rash guard under my Gi?
Not required—form-fitting undergarments are encouraged.
Branded academy rash guards are available for pre-order if you’d like one.
I travel for work often—what can I do?
We can freeze memberships for out-of-town travel.
Jump back into our rolling curriculum on any schedule. We can discuss flexible payment arrangements.
Do you offer Membership Discounts?
Yes—youth/adult weekly rates, family plan, and annual savings.
Weekly Youth: $50 · Weekly Adult: $62.50 · Family of Four: $103.85/week · Youth Drop-In: $20 · Adult Drop-In: $25 · Annual Youth Pass: $2,600 (save $400). Ask about alternatives.

Do you offer Private Lessons?
Yes—single sessions $150; founders special: buy 2, get 1 free.
Private coaching accelerates progress and addresses your specific goals.
Are No-Gi classes available?
Yes—invite-only for blue belts and above.
Contact us to request a spot in a No-Gi session.
How many classes are offered each week?
Nine total: Mon/Wed/Fri—Kids 4 pm, Teens 5 pm, Adults 6 pm.
Check the schedule for Kingston morning and weekend sessions.
